About
A blueprint for the person suddenly in charge.
SandwichGenerationHQ builds administrative systems for the adult children who, often without warning, become responsible for an aging parent's care, money, and paperwork.
It usually starts with a phone call — a hospital admission, a new diagnosis, a sudden decline — and suddenly you are the one keeping track. Nobody trains you for it. The forms are unfamiliar, the vocabulary is clinical, and the decisions come faster than you can organize them. SandwichGenerationHQ exists to close that gap with structure rather than sentiment.
We are built for adults, typically 42 to 58, who now manage a parent's life alongside their own. Our tools are procedural by design: checklists that name the exact calls to make first, trackers that hold every medication and provider in one place, and question frameworks that help you ask the right people the right things. The goal is not to feel better about the situation — it is to run it.
SandwichGenerationHQ is built by a small team that has sat in that sudden-responsibility seat and found the existing resources either too sentimental, too clinical, or too scattered to act on. We keep the tone administrative, the layout linear, and the steps finite. What we ship is what we wish we had been handed in the first 72 hours — and in the months that followed.
How we work
Structure, not sentiment
Caregiving is framed here as administration — calls to make, documents to locate, accounts to track. We keep the volume down and the steps clear, because the work itself is already loud enough.
Built for the first week, and the months after
The First 72 Hours checklist gets you through the initial scramble. The Care Command Binder is the system that holds everything that follows — medications, providers, policies, accounts, and legal documents in one organized place.
No advice you didn't ask for
SandwichGenerationHQ provides organizational tools and question frameworks only. Nothing here is legal, medical, or financial advice. Licensed professionals make the determinations; we help you get organized enough to have those conversations.
